Description:The Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson jug was produced in the 1820 and discontinued
in 1821. It is one the earliest Character Jugs. Re-issued in 1905 to commemorate the 100th
aniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in which Nelson defeated the French fleet.The jug feature
above, Style 1, has the original 1820 backstamp, not the reproduction.
Note old repair.
