We always use bubble wrap and peanuts to pack the items wesell. A layer of tissue paper is placed on the object followed by bubble. wrap. The bubble wrap is not wound very tightly around the object, since at high altitudes and not being pressurized, the air inside the bubble wrap expands and can cause the object to fracture if the wrap is wound too tight. Our boxes are large enough to provide a protective wall or barrier to trauma from shock to the box. Also peanuts can not be packed too tightly as a buffer zone must be provided for impact.
