FYI: The most dramatic of all the items you can place on your 
tables for decorative purposes only. I don't advise to use them with 
candles actually lit, but it can be done if you watch them carefully. 
We disclaim any responsible for a fire resulting from their use. 
They are made of heavy paper.

Candle Shades are not new. They've been on the scene for hundreds 
of years. They originally  were used to keep the drafts from blowing 
out the candles (the only source of light). As you can see, the shade 
is placed on top of a follower (a device which holds the candle shade 
and slides down the candle as it burns. Colonial Brand candles have 
the proper diameter to fit the followers, although other brands will 
do as well.
The following items are hand painted modern reproductions on thick 
card stock and made in England. Our entire remaining inventory is 
being sold at COST. Yes, at cost. It's time to move the old inventory 
out at this time. The large candle shades measure about 6 3/4" at the 
bottom.  The regular have a diameter of 5 1/2". The top measurements 
are all similar to accommodate the followers and are 2" in diameter. 
The large are 4 3/8" high and the small, 3 1/2" high.
